Winter Break is almost here for DCCC, but some students are choosing not to take time off. Students have the ability to register for Winter semester classes, high intensity classes that last around five weeks. Over 70 courses are offered ranging from English and History to Math and Psychology.
Students who register by Dec. 16 can join online classes to make up any credits they may have missed through core classes. Classes run from Dec. 17 to Jan. 17.
On the DCCC website, winter classes are described as “almost like going to class seven days a week.” These classes are not recommended for students who plan for vacation or those who do not think they can juggle the responsibilities of their education and the holiday season. It is also recommended to only take one class per winter semester.
