Dr. Chuck A. Baker, DCCC professor of Sociology’s book, The Alternative Right’s Attempt at Autocratic Democracy in 21st Century America was exhibited at this year’s 2022 American Political Science Association conference Sept. 15-17.

It was also featured at the American Sociological Association conference last month. Dr. Baker’s work highlights issues challenging diversity in the United States.

In June, Olivia Gruber Florek, associate professor of Art History, delivered a lecture at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, Austria as part of the international conference “Recharging Austro-American Relations.”

The conference celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Marshall Plan and featured scholars from the United States and Austria.

Dr. Florek also presented about the Chester County painter Thomas Buchanan Read at the East Brandywine Historical Commission on Sept. 18.
