DCCC Marketing & Communications Wins Five Awards

The second annual issue of Ignite, the magazine of DCCC, won a Gold Medallion Award from the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District One annual conference Oct. 2-4, as did the Change Starts Here self mailer.

The “Welcome Back” animated video short to welcome students, faculty, and staff back to campus last fall also won a Gold Medallion. The Building Community campaign logo created for Institutional Advancement won a Bronze Medallion.

The outdoor media that is part of the current Change Starts Here advertising campaign also took home a Bronze Medallion. 

Dan Kanak, executive director of DCCC Marketing & Communications, said, “Our work helps to tell the story of the College and to meet the College’s strategic goals. But we are thrilled with the recognition received by our peers and honored to represent the College in this regional and national space.”

NCMPR represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges with more than 1,500 members.
