Students interested in becoming an EMT will have the opportunity to register for a virtual information session held May 15 at 7 p.m.
Anyone is welcome to register for this meeting that will explore how students can become an EMT by earning nine credits.
If students decide to take DCCC’s EMT course, they will be trained by professionals actively working in the field. The classes are offered in afternoon or nighttime sessions.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics job openings for EMTs are growing much faster than average. Any students who complete the EMT semester course will have a guaranteed job in this profession.
However, students can also continue to further their education in Emergency Management or Advanced Life Support Degree.
