The DCCC Track and Field Team participated in a two day meet, April 21- April 22, at Widener University. The competition ranged from NCAA DI to NJCAA DIII schools such as Villinova, St. Joseph’s University and University of Pennsylvania.

Coach Cara Fordenbacher said, “Our Sprints Squad all had an amazing day!” Varun, Tre, and Joseph all had double personal bests for the day, and Tre set the school record in the Men’s 100m in 11.19 seconds, and Men’s 200m in 23.00 seconds.

The 6 athletes who competed for DCCC participated in the Women’s Shot Put, Discus, 5,000m, 400m, 200m, and 100m.

Coach Fordenbacher said, “I am hoping to just get all of our athletes to the line and compete on Saturday, April 29 for the last meet of the season.”
