DCCC Track & Field Starts

The DCCC Track and Field Team participated in its first meet, March 25 at Stockton University. Twenty schools competed ranging from NCAA division two and three to NJCAA schools.

The top competitors on DCCC’s team were Brandon McMaster who placed fifth in discus and threw 31.79 meters, and Tre McMary who placed 6th in 100 meter dash with a time of 11.61 seconds.

One DCCC female athlete competed in shot put and discus. Eight DCCC male athletes competed in javelin, short track races and discus.

This was the first men’s track and field meet in DCCC history.

Coach Cara Fordenbacher said, “The team will be working on improving overall technique and continue training” in preparation for the next meet tomorrow.
