DCCC’s Creative writing club is back online. The zoom meetings are every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Creative writing helps students develop vocabulary, grammar, and writing style.

Each week members are sent a prompt of what to write about. After sharing their writing students will both give and receive constructive feedback. Members also watch spoken word poetry and have discussions about authors.

Last semester the club paused due to a “lack of attendance and limited publicity according to Megan Grant. She said, “The club is online to allow flexibility for those who are unable to make it to campus or just have busy lives.”
