DCCC Art Department will host a tour to New York to visit the Metropolitan Art Museum, the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian design museum enrolled into DCCC who is interested in attending. This will be the first trip since the Pandemic in 2020.
Participants will view several artworks from costumes and Apparel, European paintings, to Greek and Roman, Egyptian, prints and drawings, and contemporary art. Dr. Florek, professor of Art, said, “ I think it is wonderful for students to get to view the objects that they have only seen projected upon a screen.”
This would be the first art trip since 2019. An average of 40 students attend take the one-day trip. The bus will depart from school April 13 from 8 a.m. and return the same day at– 6 p.m.
