DCCCs Multicultural Club is being held every Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the academic building, room 1186, inside the Student Center. A zoom link is also available upon request. Students will celebrate diversity and explore different cultures and backgrounds through activities, festivals, and travel.
It is a student-led club, so the activities vary depending on the students that join.
Jennifer Bell, co-advisor of the club, said, “Just this year they have shared tables at the Multicultural festival, co-created a Day of the Dead display, and created pavement art drawings for Diwali.”
Upcoming events for this club include creating a multicultural fashion show event and a Holi activity. Holi is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in February or March in honor of Krishna.
