Delco’s Annual Sustainability Office Report highlighted action to help create a stronger, cleaner, and safer environment for Delaware county residents, workers and visitors.

This year, the Office Hosted the inaugural Delaware County Sustainability Conference, was awarded the 2022 Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence, received the Alternative Fuel Leadership Award, was awarded a Green Ways Grant Round III, providing almost $5 million to local projects and continued Master Plan Development for the former Don Guanella Site.

Francine Locke, the County’s Chief Sustainability Officer, said, “In 2023, we are going to build on this year’s significant achievements to move toward truly sustainable, low-impact government operations.”
