Phi Theta Kappa Holds Induction

DCCC’s Phi Theta Kappa, an international honors society for community college students, will host its annual induction ceremony on Dec. 1 at 6:30pm on the Marple campus.  This event includes a dinner, orientation for new Phi Theta Kappa members and a formal induction ceremony.

Phi Theta Kappa members are eligible for financial and scholarship opportunities, and volunteer and leadership roles.

President of Beta Psi Pi Chapter, Jacob Beckman, said, “In PTK students with exemplary academic records work together to serve their communities and prepare to meet their future and professional goals.”

DCCC is home to two chapters representing Delaware and Chester counties.  Many students in PTK continue to higher education often with scholarships.  One scholarship in particular is the All PA Academic, which awards PTK members two-year scholarship to finish their bachelor’s degree at an accredited PA University.
