Simmee Myers, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, will now serve on the DCCC President’s Cabinet. Her inclusion on the Cabinet exemplifies the College’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

By creating equitable access for all students, the College will continue to fulfill its mission of providing quality educational programs and services that are student focused, accessible, comprehensive and flexible to meet the educational needs of the diverse communities it serves.

DCCC has received an additional $3 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program funds toward the construction of the new Southeast campus. This brings the total RACP award to $8.5 million.

A Steering Committee for the new Southeast campus will be formed to support the implementation of the courses, programs and services. Members will meet with community groups and key stakeholders to identify ways to contribute to the success of the College and impact the economic status of the surrounding areas.
