DCCC has hired Jennifer Schu as the new Director of Public Relations. Schu has spent the last 10 years working as the Director of Communications for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Villanova University.

Schu said the transition from Villanova to DCCC “felt like a natural next step to seek out an opportunity that would allow me to work with a different kind of student population.” 

Schu hopes to get to know the stories of individual students. “Most students’ plates here are incredibly full; they are juggling a lot, along with their studies. I’m interested in learning about their individual goals and dreams”.

She said highlighting those stories across multiple communication channels and in the media can help convince prospective students that DCCC is the place for them.

 “This college is clearly a community of individuals—students, faculty and staff—who want to make a difference.”
