Delaware County is looking for residents interested in joining the newly created Delaware County Commission for Immigrant Affairs. The Commission will provide recommendations to Council and pertinent County Departments to address the needs of immigrant communities in Delaware County. 

County Council recognizes the critical need to address the needs of immigrant communities in Delaware County, through engagement with County residents and community partners. 

The Commission will advise on policies and programs to improve the lives of immigrants within Delaware County. It will share resources and raise awareness about the history, geography, and culture of the various immigrant communities represented within Delaware County.

There are 10 vacancies with four terms ending in 2025, four terms ending in 2024 and two terms ending in 2023. Residents can apply through Nov. 1 at https://www.delcopa.gov/clerk/boardscommissions/pdf/ImmigrantAffairs.pdf.
